Aamir Khan as Sanjay Singhania, a rich business man; the chairman of a mobile phone company, Air Voice. He suffers from amnesia which makes him forget all the events that had happened 15 minutes ago.
Asin Thottumkal as Kalpana, a model by profession who gains publicity by proclaiming herself to be the girlfriend of Sanjay Singhania.
Jiah Khan as Sunita, a medical student, who is trying to study the case of Sanjay Singhania and his amnesiac problem.
Pradeep Rawat as Ghajini Dharmatma, a gang honcho and the mastermind of many illegal and criminal ventures.
Riyaz Khan as Inspector Arjun. a police inspector who is investigating the murders by Sanjay Singhania.

Plot;

The film opens with Sunita (Jiah khan), a medical student, and her friends working on a project about the human brain. She wants to investigate the curious case of Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan), a (former) notable city businessman, who is reported to have anterograde amnesia. Her professor denies access to Sanjay’s records as it is currently under criminal investigation. Sunita nonetheless decides to investigate the matter herself.
Sanjay is introduced as he brutally murders a man. He takes a Polaroid picture of the man, and time-stamps it “done”. It is revealed that Sanjay has a strange form of anterograde amnesia where his memory is wiped out every 15 minutes. Sanjay uses a system of photographs, notes, and tattoos on his body to recover his memory after each cycle. It is revealed that Sanjay is ultimately out to avenge Kalpana (Asin Thottumkal), and that he is systematically killing the people who were responsible for her death. His main target is “Ghajini” (Pradeep Rawat), a notable social personality in the city.
Police Inspector Arjun Yadav, on the case of the serial murders, tracks Sanjay down to his flat and attacks and disables him. Yadav finds two diaries where Sanjay has chronicled the events of 2005 and 2006. The film enters flashback to 2005 as Yadav reads the diary. Sanjay Singhania is shown as the owner of the Air Voice mobile telephone company. In the course of his business, Sanjay sends his men to meet Kalpana, a struggling model, about putting up a billboard above her apartment. The owner of Kalpana’s advertising firm misinterprets this as a romantic advance, and in view of a possible lucrative Air Voice ad campaign and other benefits, encourages Kalpana to accept the overture. Kalpana thinks of this as an innocent prank, that may fetch her better modeling work, and decides to play out the charade as Sanjay’s girlfriend.
When Yadav is about to read the 2006 diary, Sanjay attacks him and ties him up. He tracks down Ghajini to a college function where Ghajini is the guest of honor. Sanjay snaps some pictures of Ghajini and decides to kill him. He meets Sunita at the function and after some conversation, decides to befriend him. Later that evening, Sanjay mistakenly attacks and kills one of Ghajini’s goons in the parking lot. The dying goon tries to remind Ghajini about an incident that took place two years back. Ghajini is perplexed and fails to remind himself well enough.
In the meantime, Sunita visits Sanjay’s flat and finds Yadav, beaten and bound. She also finds that Ghajini is Sanjay’s target. Sunita finds the two diaries and frees Yadav. Yadav tells her that Sanjay is a known serial murderer. Sanjay arrives suddenly; he remembers neither of them and chases them out. Yadav is eventually hit by a bus, while Sunita barely escapes. Believing Ghajini is in danger, she informs him that Sanjay is after him. Ghajini arrives at Sanjay’s flat to kill him. He destroys all the photographs, notes and scratch off Sanjay’s tattoos. Satisfied that he has neutralized Sanjay by wiping out any trace that connects back to him, Ghajini leaves.
Meanwhile, back in her dorm, Sunita reads the diaries. The film flashes back to 2006. It is revealed that Kalpana had accepted Sanjay’s proposal. This diary ends abruptly. Sunita investigates further, and discovers that Kalpana was traveling for a modeling assignment by train when she came upon 25 innocent young girls being transported to Goa to work as prostitutes and organ donors. She saves the girls who name Ghajini as the ringleader of the racket. Ghajini goes in search of Kalpana. His goons broke into her apartment and wait for her to return. Sanjay arrives there to meet Kalpana. Her last word to him was “Ghajini”. The goons attack Kalpana. Sanjay intervenes but Ghajini hit him over the head with an iron rod. Sanjay’s last vision was to witness Ghajini brutally murder Kalpana with the iron rod.
Sunita, now aware of the shocking truth, finds Sanjay and tells him the truth. He flies into rage and goes after Ghajini. Arriving at Ghajini’s lair in downtown Mumbai, Sanjay brutally kills all of Ghajini’s henchmen and launches into a vicious chase-fight after Ghajini. He is about to kill Ghajini when his memory loss cycle kicks in. Ghajini turns about and stabs him. He begins to taunt Sanjay with the grisly tale of how he murdered Kalpana, when Sanjay, with a sudden burst of last minute strength, overpowers Ghajini. Sanjay kills Ghajini in the same way as Ghajini killed Kalpana.
The film ends with Sanjay, still experiencing amnesia, volunteering at an orphanage. Sunita gives him a small gift which is the cement slab of plaster on which Kalpana and Sanjay pressed their foot when Kalpana moved into a new apartment to remind him of his fond association with Kalpana.

Plot;

Shy, introverted, and kind-hearted Surinder “Suri” Sahni (Shahrukh Khan) is an office employee for Punjab Power. He quietly falls in love with the daughter of his former professor (M.K. Raina), beautiful and vivacious Tania “Taani” Gupta (Anushka Sharma), whom he first sees during the preparations for her wedding. When they are introduced however, Taani jokingly berates and blames him for setting an impossible set of standards (reiterated by her father) that she was never able to meet growing up. A short while later, the shocking news arrives that her lover and fiancé and his wedding entourage were killed in a road accident. The hitherto immensely carefree Taani’s immediately distraught; her father suffers a heart attack. Fearing that Taani will be alone in the world, the professor on his deathbed, and paternally affectionate toward Suri, requests him to marry her. Suri silently concedes; Taani tearfully agrees for her father’s sake.
After an impromptu wedding, Suri takes Taani to his ancestral home in Amritsar. While his good nature leads Suri to treat her with exceptional care, illustrated by his letting her have his erstwhile bedroom all to herself, and patience, he is too frightened to profess his love for her. Besides which, Taani tells him that while she will try to be a good wife and thus respect her role in his life, she can never love him due to having no love left within her. Suri, least bothered and grateful for the increasing acts of wifely affection she does show, proceeds to indulge her wishes. These include regular evening trips to the cinema to see song and dance films which appeal to Taani’s fantasies about romance and her passion for dancing. She soon asks for Suri’s permission, which he grants, to take an expensive dance class with a Bombay company Dancing Jodi to unwind from her mundane life at home.
During those evenings spent at the movie-theatres, Suri realizes his inadequacy vis-a-vis the strong, masculine images that Taani admires and later asks his long-time chum Balwinder “Bobby” Khosla (Vinay Pathak), a hair-salon owner, for grooming advice so as to win her love. Bobby is eager to help and gives him a complete makeover (shaving off his mustache – an accidental gag, modding his hairstyle, fitting him out in funky Western-style clothing including aviator-style shades with oversized pastel lenses). Suri is thus transformed into the swaggering, crude, and fun-loving “Raj Kapoor”, a name he borrows from the hero of the movie that Taani had recently admired. He joins the dance class to be near her. By chance — or, as he puts it, by divine choice — he becomes Taani’s partner in the competition. Despite Raj’s initial obnoxiousness — a result of Surinder’s inexperience with women and his over-the-top attempts to emulate the “cool” images from movies — he and Taani become friends as they work together on their dance routine. Suri feels encouraged when Taani does not tie a rakhi (holy thread) on “Raj’s” wrist during the festival of Raksha Bandhan (for to do so would indicate that she thought of him only as a brother). Thus, after a period of time, Raj declares his love for her.
Suri’s ruse poses a dilemma for both of them. Taani enters into a period of internal conflict, desperately wanting to escape from her despair-filled life through finding a new person to love. Despite wanting to escape what she believes is a loveless marriage, Taani feels compelled to stay with Suri due to the promise that she made to her father. Suri also faces an extraordinary paradox: Taani’s sheer misery as his wife in contrast to her delight with his fabricated alter ego, Raj. He thus attempts to win Taani’s love as Suri, an act which only alienates her further. She eventually runs away to find Raj in order to tell him the predicament she is in, hoping he will help her. He offers to elope with her, which she agrees to, tearfully. They set the date for their elopement to the next night, the night of the competition. Later that wet night, freed of his ‘Raj’ facade, Suri confides in Bobby his desires to not do the right thing – reveal all to Taani – but end the charade in his own way, i.e. sacrifice his cravings for her love, leave her his property and transfer himself to Delhi.
On the day of the competition, Suri takes Taani to the Golden Temple in order to garner God’s blessings for her competition that night—and internally, also for her life with(out) Raj. While there, Taani has an epiphany in which she believes God has shown her a sign that tells that her marriage to Suri is divinely inspired. For the first time she reflects on her husband and becomes aware of the strength and integrity of Suri’s character, something she can grow to love. Taani thus tells Raj that she cannot choose him over her newly-discovered life-partner. She leaves him in what appears to be a state of shock with tears in his eyes. When the time comes for their performance Taani, resigned to Raj’s non-availabily, is stunned to see Suri instead join her on stage. Even as he kick-starts their eventually competition-clinching routine, Taani puts two and two together and through a series of flashbacks during the dance awakens to the fact that Suri is Raj. Backstage she confronts Suri and when he confesses his love for her, she tearfully admits that she returns his feelings. The two having won the competition head off on a honeymoon to Japan, the trip itself a product of Suri’s erstwhile endeavours – as Suri – to win Taani’s love.

Plot;

The sequel is chronologically set two years after the original film, Sarkar.
The movie opens with an assassination attempt against Shankar Nagre (Abhishek Bachchan) being busted by his lieutenant Chander (Ravi Kale). The assassination follows the ‘chain of command’ theory mentioned in The Godfather (novel) (the lower members or links of the chain were killed so that the planners could not be found). It was planned by Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra (a state in India), Karunesh Kaanga (Sayaji Shinde) and Hassan Qazi (Govind Namdeo).
Anita Rajan (Aishwarya Rai), CEO of an international electrical power firm based in London, holds a meeting with Mike Rajan (Victor Banerjee), her father and boss and Hassan Qazi, as a seemingly shady adviser and facilitator; regarding an ambitious proposal to set up a multi-million dollar power plant in rural parts of the state of Maharashtra in India. Qazi states that this project will be impossible due to possible political entanglements. When Anita asks him for a solution, Qazi states that enlisting the support of Subhash Nagre (Amitabh Bachchan) (commonly referred to by his title of Sarkar), who he describes as a criminal in the garb of a popular and influential political leader, might help their cause.
Sarkar is shown greeting a massive crowd from the balcony of his palatial bungalow in Mumbai, Maharashtra. They have gathered to celebrate his 60th birthday. He addresses the crowd and states that he is proud of what his son, Shankar, has achieved as the heir of the Nagre clan. He then goes down to mingle with the rejoicing crowd.
Anita is accompanied by the Chief Minister of Maharastra, Kaanga, and Qazi to the Nagres’s residence. They put forward the power plant proposal to Subhash and Shankar. Subhash angrily rebukes the CM, who had been brought to power thanks to Sarkar’s influence; for agreeing to sponsor the power plant as the project involved resettlement of around 40,000 people from five villages surrounding the major rural vote bank of Thakerwadi. The CM apologizes and promises that something like this won’t happen again.
After this failed meeting gets over, the dejected Anita tells Qazi that she doesn’t think things will work out in this ‘jungle-like’ political scenario. Qazi however reassures her by saying that there is still some hope left as Shankar had not said a word during the meeting.
Shankar is trying to convince his father about the benefits of the plant and the tremendous progress it can spark in the power-hungry state of Maharashtra. He states that one should overlook a small loss in the present if there is a promise of a greater gain in the future. After some convincing, Subhash somewhat reluctantly agrees to support the project.
Father and son proceed to Thakerwadi, accompanied by Shankar’s wife Avantika (Tanisha Mukherjee), their trusted lieutenant Chander (Ravi Kale) and bodyguards. They have gone to meet Rao Saab, Sarkar’s wise mentor and a popular leader in the interns of Maharashtra; to seek blessings and advice for the project. He is initially reluctant about the idea and Shankar vehemently opposes his stance. However, he agrees to give his go-ahead to the project after Shankar convinces him that Sarkar believes in the project, although it is apparent that neither Rao Saab nor Subhash himself is entirely convinced.
During the meeting, Rao Saab’s grandson, Sanjay Somji (debutante Rajesh Shringarpure) storms in to complain about a matter and proposes a violent solution. Rao Saab promises to look into the matter and introduces him to the Nagres as a leader in the local farmers’ union. He describes him as a short-tempered albeit good-natured man.
Anita and Shankar have a meeting, after which Qazi tries to bribe Shankar to let him embezzle money from the project; when Anita goes to attend a phone call from her father. However, the righteous Shankar informs Anita about the corrupt Qazi’s plans. She informs her father who later fires him.
Shankar, along with Anita, visits the villages to mobilize support from the masses. During this campaign, Anita starts to admire Shankar and realizes her conversations with him sets a strong foundation for friendship with him. Shankar states that the power plant has become as much of a dream for him as it is for Anita, who relishes this opportunity as an opportunity to work independently from the constraints of her boss and estranged father. However, they face an obstacle in the form of Somji, who incites the people against the Nagres, calling them money-minded city-dwellers who don’t care about the welfare of the rural public and are just out to grab tracts of their motherland. The fickle public react by protesting violently.
Kantilal Vora (Upendra Limaye), a businessman, approaches Sarkar with the proposal of shifting the project to the state of Gujarat, as the project was seemingly facing a dead end in Maharashtra. After his idea is unceremoniously rejected by the Nagres, he joins hands with Qazi and Kaanga (who is unhappy with Sarkar for making him deputy CM instead of CM) to make a plot against the Nagres.
Subhash mourns over the death of Vishnu (played by Kay Kay Menon in Sarkar), his erring son who was killed by Shankar for a murder attempt on his father. Later, Subhash tells his son that Kantilal Vora had come, in a manner that hints that he is a threat to their cause, but the seemingly overconfident Shankar brushes the matter aside and tells his father not to worry about anything as he would take care of whatever comes up.
Meanwhile Chander approaches Shankar with the idea of intimidating Somji, who is proving quite problematic. However, Shankar declares that he wishes to hold talks with Somji as he believes that both work for the benefit of Maharashtra and that Somji is merely uninformed about the project. He orders the bewildered and dismayed Chander to arrange for a meeting. With some difficulty, he succeeds in arranging a cell phone conversation just when Shankar is about to enter his car. As he is standing in the courtyard talking to Somji, the vehicle explodes. Avantika, two months pregnant was sitting inside the car waiting for Shankar, dies. Subhash, who rushes to the balcony on hearing the explosion, gets a heart attack on witnessing the scene.
Shankar fires Chander over the security breach that resulted in the explosion, without giving him a chance to prove himself. He appoints a deputy, Bala, as the new security officer.
Shankar, Anita and Pushpa (Supriya Pathak), Shankar’s mother, visit Subhash in the hospital. Here, Subhash consoles Shankar and tells him to forget the incident for a while and to keep going with the project. Shankar responds by asking his father how he could forget the loss of his beloved wife and unborn child.
Unknown assailants kidnap Somji as he is on his way to a rally. Media speculation and general opinion point to Shankar as the culprit. As Subhash watches the news with Kaanga, he notices by Kaanga’s speech and behavior that he could possibly be a perpetrator.
Shankar attends a party hosted by Anita for those involved in the project. Here, Mike tells Anita that he is giving the project to the business-minded Vora, as he is fed up of the problems faced by it in Maharashtra and also of Shankar’s idealistic approach to them. When Anita tells him that this would be wrong, as their promises to the rural public of Maharashtra would be broken; Mike remarks that she shouldn’t be moralistic and should think of profits. Anita replies that Shankar would not allow this, to which Mike ominously retorts that Shankar would be ‘taken care of’, thus arousing Anita’s suspicions. Her father then introduces her to Vora, and the two men go off to discuss the business.
Meanwhile at the party, Shankar receives a phone call from Chander, who in an attempt to redeem himself, has found out that Somji is being held captive by Qazi in a house in a forested region. Shankar leaves the party with Bala, rushes to the spot in a jeep and picks up Chander on the way, who leads them to the secluded hideout in the middle of a forested area. They wish to settle scores with Qazi and free Somji so as to shatter kidnapping allegations against them. Shankar purposely crashes the jeep into an electrical generator. This causes a forest fire, and all the guards rush outside and make efforts to stop it. Hence they become easy and unsuspecting targets for the trio. Shankar enters the house and shoots down Qazi as he rushes out about to escape. A terrified Somji is also freed.
The indebted Somji becomes an aide to the Nagres. Rao Saab calls Shankar and thanks him for bringing a positive change in his grandson, something he himself could not do. Meanwhile, Kaanga and Vora hire an assassin, apparently to kill Shankar. Shankar and Somji hold a joint press conference where they announce their alliance. Somji says that he is now a supporter of the project, a statement that brings some ire from one of the apparent supporters of his previous stance, who is present at the conference. The assassin is also present there.
Anita and Shankar are having a conversation over tea at a secluded balcony. Anita tells him that the project is being taken to Gujarat, to which he replies that only efforts are being made to take it there, and he won’t let that happen. He says that the two main threats, Qazi and Somji, have been taken care of, and now the going will be a lot smoother. Anita relays Mike’s statement that he would ‘take care of’ Shankar. But Shankar says that she is having irrational fears. The two face a few uneasy moments, realizing the extent of their feelings for each other and Shankar is then shot multiple times by the unseen assassin.
Subhash, Pushpa and Chander rush to visit Shankar at the hospital. The doctor informs them that Shankar’s chances of survival are low. a heartbroken Pushpa collapses on hearing this. Subhash enters the ward where a fatally wounded Shankar and a sobbing Anita are present. He tries to give Shankar strength, but Shankar passes away and Anita starts crying uncontrollably collapsing to the floor. His body is taken for cremation, Subhash writes in the ashes and the rain increases to wash away the inscription as Anita watches.
Subhash begins on a path of bloody revenge. He asks Anita who was present with her dad at the party, and on being told that it was Vora, instructs Bala that he wants to see him “now”. Vora is abducted and tortured at the Nagre’s mansion for information about the others involved, and presumably killed later. Kaanga is knifed at his office while Bala bludgeons the assassin to death with a rifle’s butt. Chander is also shown as one of the traitors. He was the one who informed the assassin about Shankar’s location. He was also angry that Shankar had fired him and chosen to trust a rookie (Bala). He says that he had been loyal to Subhash for twenty years as he respected him and his way of functioning, but could not digest the way Shankar worked as the Sarkar. Subhash tells him if after twenty years he couldn’t understand, there was nothing to explain then. As Subhash turns to take a phone call Bala shoots Chander in the head.
Subhash goes up to Anita and informs her that her dad, Mike, had been shot dead by one of his men in London. She sheds a stray tear as Subhash tells her about the conspiracy to kill Shankar. Vora wanted to handle the profitable venture himself, while Qazi wanted to embezzle a few hundred crores from the multi-million dollar project. Both realized that Shankar’s presence would not allow them to do what they wanted and hence bumped him off. Kaanga meanwhile wanted to overthrow the ruling party so that he could enjoy the powers of being the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, but realized that the support given by the Nagres to the ruling party would prevent him from doing so. Killing Shankar was probably intended to weaken the Nagres’ hold over Maharashtrian politics. Meanwhile, Chander thought he would succeed Subhash as the next Sarkar but the unexpected arrival of Shankar on the scene (in the first movie Sarkar) dismayed him.
However, Subhash then states that he has discovered that this whole setup was actually a cover-up for an elaborate and dirty political conspiracy in which Qazi, Kaanga, Vora, Chander, Mike and the killer were merely pawns. When Anita asks him who the mastermind behind it was, Subhash unexpectedly replies that it was Rao Saab. The conspiracy was to make Somji the new ‘Sarkar’. He was the one who instructed the trio of Qazi, Kaanga and Vora about everything. The bomb that was planted in Shankar’s car was merely a distraction and was not meant to kill Shankar, as would have been thought (as Shankar would have been in the car had it not been for Somji’s phone call). Shankar was not bumped off at this stage because then the public perceived Somji and him to be enemies, and Shankar’s death would arouse his supporters suspicion against Somji and make them turn against him, thus defeating the entire purpose of the conspiracy. To achieve this end, Rao Saab orchestrated Somji’s kidnapping and sacrificed Qazi. Hence when Shankar saved Somji and Somji joined the Nagres’ campaign, the public perceived him to be a younger brother to Shankar. Thus when Shankar would be killed, the public would automatically consider his ‘brother’ Somji to be his successor. On hearing about the complete conspiracy, a stunned Anita asks Subhash what would happen next. Subhash talks about who would now take his son’s place and she replies “Me”. Subhash replies that Rao Saab would be coming to his residence the next day.
The next day as Rao Saab arrives, he sits down with Subhash and shows feigned grief over Shankar’s death. He then asks Subhash who would be able to take on Shankar’s mantle. Subhash points behind Rao Saab, who turns to see the bloody corpse of his grandson Somji and is visibly terrified as to what Subhash would do to him now that his plot has been uncovered. Subhash asks Rao Saab what he should do now. Subhash stands up and walks out of the room, what finally happens to Rao Saab is not shown.
Subhash is shown lamenting that his son had to pay the price of his actions. He goes and sits on his son’s desk, symbolizing that he has reclaimed the title of ‘Sarkar’ himself after Shankar’s death. He calls out to his wife Pushpa and tells her to call his daughter-in-law Amrita (the wife of the deceased Vishnu Nagre, played by Kay Kay Menon in the prequel Sarkar) and tell her to send his grandson Chiku from the city of Nagpur to their house in Mumbai. This is probably to feature his training as a successor in a sequel.
In the closing shots of the movie, Anita is shown at the Nagres’ residence holding a meeting, she turns and casually and comfortably asks for a cup of tea.

Plot;

Tahaan (Purav Bhandare) lives with his grandfather (Victor Banerjee), mother Haba (Sarika) and older sister Zoya (Sana Shaikh) in the Kashmir valley. The family lives with the ardent hope that the boy’s father, who’s been missing for over three years, will return home. The death of the grandfather pushes them into financial crisis. The local moneylender and his manager (Rahul Khanna) take away the family’s assets including Tahaan’s pet donkey, Birbal, in lieu of an unpaid loan. While the rest of the family seeks redemption from the crises, Tahaan is determined to bring Birbal back home.
After salvaging money using various means, Tahaan reaches the moneylender to reclaim Birbal. He is told that old man Subhan Darr (Anupam Kher) bought the donkey and went across the same mountains that Tahaan’s father went missing in. Gathering courage, Tahaan goes in search of the old man. He finds him and he follows Subhan and his assistant Zafar (Rahul Bose) and their mule train, leading Birbal despite their protests. Although Subhan promises to return Birbal to Tahaan if he can win a race against the incompetent Zafar, when he wins Subhan refuses to give him Birbal. Instead, Subhan gives the donkey to his eight year old nephew. Zafar tries to give Tahaan his sunglasses as a replacement for the donkey, but Tahaan will not accept the gift.
On his way back home, Tahaan encounters Idrees, a teenager who discourages him, saying that his efforts will not be sufficient to get Birbal back. Instead he suggests to do him a favor. Tahaan is asked to take a package across the mountains in his onward journey. Upon seeing his eagerness, Idrees hands him over a grenade and says that when the time is right, he will be told what needs to be done. At a checkpoint the package and grenade are not discovered due to the fact that the soldiers know and trust Subhan Darr. Tahaan is about to commit a terrorist act with the grenade and has already removed the pin, when he changes his mind and throws it safely in a river. He then sees his father emerge from the building he almost blew up. Subhan’s nephew learns that Tahaan is fond of Birbal, and at his request Subhan gives the donkey back to Tahaan.

Saif Ali Khan as Romeo,
A small cute looking pet of a super rich human family. He is a real good looking guy and he makes sure everyone around him thinks so too! He lives the good life. He has got a butler waiting on him, the best food to eat, a grand car to go out in and plenty of super rich friends. He is extremely popular with the ladies, he is a big flirt! He is very savvy and smart. When fate lands him in a slum, after his initial disappointment, he smooth talks his way out of trouble. He finds himself to be more intelligent than the average street guy and he takes full advantage of this fact to turn things around to his benefit. He thinks nothing of lying just to get what he wants.
Kareena Kapoor as Laila,
The lead singer and dancer at the Moonlight Nightclub. This is where all the males throng every week when she performs. There isn’t a male guy alive in the slum who doesn’t dream of dancing with the beautiful, Laila some day. In spite of the large list of admirers, Laila is a lonely girl. Charlie Anna, the Don of the slum, is besotted by her and everyone is terrified of his anger. The consequences of just talking to Laila can be fatal and due to this, she has no friends. The girls are jealous of her and the guys are scared of Charlie‛s wrath. She dreams of finding a sweet, honest and brave guy who will have the courage to be friends with her and dance with her.
Javed Jaffrey as Charlie Anna,
The dreaded Don of the slum. Anna means big brother and that is what everyone calls him out of fear. He is the cause of fear in everyone’s heart. He is dirty, fat and ugly, with a big bouncy belly. Charlie Anna is a pompous old fool who loves nothing more than hearing his praises. His moods are unpredictable and that is what makes him dangerous, yet at heart he is a hopeless romantic.
Vrajesh Hirjee as Guru,
The oldest and wisest among the four goons. The other three members always look up to him for advice.
Kiku Sharda as Hero English,
One of the four goons. He is a typical goon, a ruffian but a bit slow in the head, just like his three friends. Though he looks ferocious, he is a harmless chap. He has been born and brought up in this slum. Even though he has no clue, he is always trying to speak in English, to a very comical effect.
Suresh Menon as Interval,
The third member of the gang. He is a total film buff.
Tanaaz Currim Irani as Mini, the last member of the gang of four. Mini is actually an alley cat who is a wannabe stray dog. She looks up to Guru, Hero English and Interval and wants to be just like them. She is in denial that she is a cat. She refuses to accept that and thinks of herself as a stray dog much to the annoyance of her three friends who keep trying to drill some sense into her that she is no dog, but just an ordinary alley cat.
Sanjay Mishra as Chhainu,
Charlie Anna’s official spy. He is the yes man. A slimy character, he reports the goings on of the slum to Charlie. He is also responsible for reminding all to pay up their weekly protection money to Charlie on pay day.

Plot;

Romeo (voice of Saif Ali Khan) is a dog who once lived in luxurious surroundings. One day his owners decide to migrate to London and he is left at the mercy of the servant of the house, who dumps him on the street. Left to fend for himself, he is soon cornered by the local gang — Guru, Interval, Hero English and a dog-wannabe cat, Mini — who tell him that this is their domain. Romeo does not know the street lingo and is at a loss for words at first, but he manages to win the gang over with the idea of setting up a business.
Together, they set up a successful dog-grooming business until Chhainu (Sanjai Mishra), the right hand of gangster-dog Charlie Anna (Javed Jaffrey), arrives to collect “hafta” (weekly protection money) in the form of bones. Romeo throws Chhainu out, and the others, terrified, go to Charlie to plead their case. Charlie threatens them with his trio of ninja dogs, whom he calls his Angels (prompting him to crack a “Charlie’s Angels” joke), but Romeo tricks Charlie into allowing his friends to leave unhurt.
Romeo meets Laila (Kareena Kapoor), who is singing on a rooftop, and falls in love. To win her over, Laila tells Romeo he must dance with her in front of everyone at the “Moonlight Club” where she performs. Romeo says yes, unaware that Charlie Anna has long wanted her, and anyone who dares go near her is dealt with severely. However, Romeo braves the odds and dances with Laila to win her heart. Love blossoms, enraging Charlie, who captures and terrorizes Romeo. Thinking quickly, Romeo promises that he would make Laila fall in love with Charlie.
Romeo does not intend to lose Laila, but plans to deflate Charlie’s ego by having a disguised Mini pretend to be Laila and make it clear she’s not interested. This works, but only exacerbates Charlie’s ire, forcing Romeo to promise him a second meeting with Laila. The night of the appointment, however, Chhainu catches Romeo kissing Laila, who then learns of Romeo’s deal with Charlie and angrily says she never wants to see him again. A furious Charlie and his Angels chase Romeo and the gang, capturing them. However, the three Angels are wooed by Guru, Interval and Hero English and Charlie is chased and caught by the city dog catchers. In the end, Romeo’s selflessness saves Charlie Anna from the dog catcher; the two become friends, and Charlie himself brings Laila to Romeo in a train boxcar scene reminiscent of a similar, famous scene in the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, causing Charlie Anna to remark, “Where have I seen this before?” In a dance number at the end, Romeo shows his left arm tattooed with Laila’s name.
“Bloopers” follow during the end credits.

Plot;

Devas are ’busy’ in their Swarglok (heaven). Technology has crossed boundaries of earth and even non-mortal devas have become techno-geeks. They converse in Hinglish.
Hanuman sees a village boy who is bullied by local hooligans. He decides to help him but for that he has to take birth like normal human. He decides to do so with some conditional understanding with Brahma. He appears on earth in a village named Bajrangpur like a normal child (with a cute tail) but he is growing really fast. He takes admission in school at the age of 3 months. He teaches a lesson to local hooligans, Gabbarsingh and his gang…
On planet Shukra there is a fight between danavs and accidentally the Sarpdansh comes to earth. Now danavs are also on earth to search for it and they have to face Hanuman. Hanuman easily defeats Rahu and Ketu with the help of his army of monkeys that came to help Hanuman to get free from the hands of culprits (that caught him because he stole the mangoes from his garden). Then a monster made of polythene and other non-biodegradable waste appears from a volcano that was said to firm when Sarpdansh merged with the Kamandal thrown by Shukracharya which coincidentally fell in the volcano located in Bajrangpur. It was said by God Ram that when a blockage, which is seen in the end, is cleared then the monster (mainly made of plastic and other waste material thrown by humans) will finish up.

Mumbai Meri Jaan tells the story of five different people whose lives are affected by the 2006 Mumbai train bombings. Rupali Joshi (Soha Ali Khan) is a successful reporter who is getting married in two months. Nikhil Agarwal (R. Madhavan) is an environmentally conscious executive who rides the train to work every day and is expecting his first child. Suresh (Kay Kay Menon) is a struggling computer tech who spends his time loafing at a local cafe and criticizing Muslims. Meanwhile, Sunil Kadam (Vijay Maurya), struggles with the corruption and inefficiency of the Mumbai police force and his boss, Tukaram Patil (Paresh Rawal), who is nearing retirement.
On 11 July Nikhil and Suresh are in the second class compartment of a train when a bomb goes off in the first class compartment. The two survive, but Nikhil is too afraid to take the train again and is diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder. Suresh becomes obsessed with punishing the city’s Muslims and is only stopped from antagonising them by Kadam and Patil on patrol. Kadam and Patil abuse a street vendor named Thomas (Irfan Khan) who begins calling in fake bomb scares at malls to relieve his feelings. After an elderly man suffers a heart attack while the police are evacuating one mall, Thomas feels guilty and decides to stop. Rupali, who rushed to the scene of the bombings to cover the story, is devastated when she discovers that her fiancé died in the blasts. Her grief is augmented when her news channel she works for tries to exploit her story for ratings. Meanwhile, Suresh pursues a Muslim that he suspects of being a terrorist. However, after Patil stops him and lectures him on communal harmony, he befriends the Muslim man.
After Nikhil’s wife goes into labour he is forced to take the train to get to the hospital. Mumbai stops for two minutes while the city observes a moment of silence in tribute to those killed in the bombings as Patil finally retires from the police force and Kadam forgives him for his corrupt actions. Nikhil overcomes his fear of trains and Thomas gives a rose to the elderly man whose heart attack he caused.
